Relatively new user here and I'd like to register some first impressions and thoughts on improvement.
First up, I have to say I enjoy the ease of input with the app and the scoring screen looks excellent. But, I discovered while scoring my first game though that as the game progressed, it became less clear what each batter did in their previous at bat. The list of results for each batter as written in the lower left could be improved by adding a number to the left of each result and presenting the results in a list rather than paragraph style. The numbers would then correspond to the visual representation of those results that are on screen when the batter first appears. Furthermore, I'd love to be able to see what came of those results without having to switch to the scorecard -- i.e. did the batter later score? Did they accumulate some RBIs?
For example:
Current: Line drive, ground out, walk, home run
Suggestion:
1. Line drive (Scored)
2. Ground out
3. Walk (LOB)
4. Home run (RBI, Scored)
Secondly, the scorecard itself is a bit slow to load/respond which makes using it frustrating. For me, I quite enjoy writing the scorecard during a game, but perhaps that's counter to iScore's intended functionality. However, I've noticed that the scorecard doesn't scale as one zooms in on the individual cell which makes the writing appear a bit blurred.
I'd propose an option to view an individual cell full-screen, fully-scaled on its own when one selects it. Further functionality could later be added to select individual events in that cell to see how that batter was advanced around the base paths (ie. touch AB6 and a short dialogue would appear saying (Advanced on double by #1 John Doe). Ideally, there would also be a bar at the top to indicate in what inning the cell you're viewing occurred and an arrow allowing you to advance right or left to the same player's cells/at bats in other innings. I think this would add some real functionality to the scorecard portion of the app.
If I can quickly throw out another idea for the statistics page of the game scoring tools page, I'd recommend the inclusion of a button to quickly jump to each section (ie. batting, fielding, pitching). Scrolling down to each section takes a lot of time and is inconvenient.
Again, love the design of the app and the input is wonderfully easy to use. But these were just some first impressions I had from using it that I thought I'd share.
Thoughts?

Re: Stat and PA organization, functional scorecard
This is only my personal preference and opinion, but to have the type of information for a batter each time they come up is TMI for me. As the person calling pitches, or trying to set the defense, all I need to see is what the initial result of the AB was and a scatter chart.
I can see your point in having this information if you were broadcasting the game however. But as a coaching tool having the extra information would be too much.
As far as the scorebook is concerned I have no real opinion here. I may look at the scorecard once or twice during the coarse of a game, and then only to confirm that my book matches the opposing teams book. Having the stats available immediately after a game makes the book more of an archive and a backup to the stats. If I were to ever lose the pitch-by-pitch record I should be able to use the book to recreate a game.
For your last suggestion, the option is available to jump directly to any of the three stat categories for each team. In the Game Manager, select a game, the first page you come to gives you direct access to the pitch-by-pitch, Batting, Pitching, and Fielding stats for each team.

Thanks, M2C. I hadn't noticed the great layout of those stats in the game manager section. I love that it scrolls so well. Would be great to have the same layout in the in-game scoring tools section.
Re: Stat and PA organization, functional scorecard
I am able to zoom in very clearly on the scorecard. (old man eyes too). Yes it takes a few seconds to calculate, but it is very clear when i reverse pinch zoom..

OhioTex:
Perhaps I was too careless with my words about the scorecard's zoom. It does scale. Obviously it's the cells and text do magnify as compared to when one is fully zoomed out.
That being said, while the text is readable and requires no squinting, it has a fuzziness about it around the edges of the fonts and some lines that I feel could be sharper. For comparison's sake, I'd recommend comparing a zoomed PDF version of the same scorecard with that on the app itself. The text, at least for me, is noticeably improved.

Re: Stat and PA organization, functional scorecard
The scorecard you view from the Tools menu in the game is actually an Image, and zooming in scales that image up. This is done for performance, and yes, loses some quality, but has the advantage of being fast to render (usually you are wanting to quickly check things if viewing the Scorebook from in app).
If you view the scorecard from Team Manager, it is an actual PDF (takes a second or two longer to render), and the scaling works well.
fwiw... the iPad version of the Scorecard shows the complete scorecard on a single screen.

Re: Stat and PA organization, functional scorecard
Learned something new. thanks.
did not know there was a difference in viewing scorecard from tools button (image) vs viewing score card from game info screen (PDF). explains the difference. now i see it is a bit fuzzier in tools view version. but still legible. and does have the advantage of having both pages accesible quickly via the home visitor button.
