Data Sharing question / iPhone - iPad

Until the new versions come out for the iPhone and the iPad, I thought I would ask what I should do.

I use my iPhone for my older son's baseball games because I usually go to his games straight from work and don't have my iPad with me. I will be using my iPad to score my younger son's little league games. I ultimately want the complete data from both league's in both of my divices.

Can I expect that with the new versions I will be able to upload the new data from each device to the other (without overwriting the complete database on each device)? In other words, will it simply add what is not there?

If that is the case then I won't bother you guys to overwrite the database on each device every other day knowing that when the upgrades get approved I will be able to share data between devices without the fear of overwriting the data.

The new version is actually available as of late yesterday. If you go to the App Store on your device, it should be available in the Updates section.

To answer your question, yes, you can transfer the data between the devices and simply add what is not there. When you download the new version, there is a link in the new "News" section that gives details of the Data Transfer capabilities.

Thank you.
