Merged stats - cumulative for players traded within league - league Leader (future.feature.request)
I would love for stats to be cumulative for players traded within league.
As it stands now, a player gets traded, regardless of whether it is within league or not, their team stats get reset to zero. This would be true if a player was traded from one league to another, but within league, their stats should just continue.

Re: Merged stats
If you go to Player Manager and select the player and view their stats from there it will show their stats across all teams they are on. Within a team it will only show their stats on that team.

Re: Merged stats
Right, I know that. But any chance that those cumulative stats will be available in the team mode? Would make sense to have it there, no?

Re: Merged stats
iScore tracks the stats on a per team basis so that players playing on multiple teams do not effect their stats on other teams (e.g. a player may play on a High School team, a Rec team and a Travel team - you would not want their stats accumulating across those teams on the player stats cards).

Re: Merged stats
But wouldn't setting up different leagues fix that issue? If a player moves within league, their cumulative stats should be present, like it does in the majors.FTMSupport wrote:iScore tracks the stats on a per team basis so that players playing on multiple teams do not effect their stats on other teams (e.g. a player may play on a High School team, a Rec team and a Travel team - you would not want their stats accumulating across those teams on the player stats cards).
Re: Merged stats
you can see a player's complete stats through player manager (across all leagues, teams) but only team specific stats when viewing through team manager.

Re: Merged stats
Which is the enhancement I am suggesting; that cumulative stats of a player traded within league be visible in team stat mode for easy sorting, comparison, etc to other players on the team.team mom wrote:you can see a player's complete stats through player manager (across all leagues, teams) but only team specific stats when viewing through team manager.
When I export team stats, I am only getting stats of games with team. This is fine if the player came from another league but in the majors, if a player is traded within league, his stats are cumulative (for league leader purposes this is important).
Re: Merged stats
I respectfully disagree, I think how it is done currently, satisfies the design intent of majority of iScore user. I do not think the majority of users would want to commingle stats from different teams, under team manager. they can see how player performed under each team stats. and Under player Manager, you can see a players stats for each team he played on.caseyjames wrote:

As to the ability to aide in League Leader type reports .. I understand the value of that , especially in simulation leagues, but that is understandably beyond the scope of iscore and something that has to be manipulated in excel outside the program anyway - so i would not confuse the base iScore app with commingling stats across teams. for better or worse, iscore is designed more for a single team scorer, coach standpoint not a league/ tournament manager. SiPlay has other apps more focused on needs of tournament/ league managers
