Logging Coach Signs

I would find it very helpful to be able to track "takes" when my players are at bat. When scoring 10-11 yo players batting, it would be good to see if a player bats better when given a "take" sign early in the AB versus not given a sign. I would see it as a on/off setting that would trigger additional information when logging balls and strikes: Ball, Ball Take, Strike Looking, Strike Take, Strike Swing. I know strike look and strike swing are there for 3rd strikes, but the addional level of tracking would be helpful. Does the product already do this??

Thank you! The app as is, is a great tool!

We will add the idea to our enhancement list. It seems it would require knowledge by the scorekeeper of when the coach gave the take sign. You can add a note to the pitch saying a take sign was given if you happen to know the coach's signs.

Yes it would definitely require the app user to be doing so solely for capturing your teams' stats (ie travel ball programs where teams have a dedicated stat keeper). And they would need to know the signs and be watching for them. I didn't realize you could capture notes on pitches...I'll check that out. Thank you!
