What a lot of people do is for the Lineup for the game, remove any players that saw no play time at all in that game. Removing a player from the Lineup for a game does not remove them from the Team Roster, it only removes them from that game so they do not show up in the game stats.

They will still show up when doing cumulative team stat reporting.

I guess I could do this after the game has ended right? Looking at the stats and then go back in and remove any where game=0. I guess I was hoping that the app could do that for me. :)

The problem is some people like to see all players listed --- even those that didn't enter the game. It may be a preference we can add in the future where you can decide if you want to show everyone, or only those that had playing time, but it is going to be a low priority for a while. Thank you.

I understand, no control on how many the coach carries..

perhaps a tip,. because i use word as my email editor, I found when i send myself the stats, and forward, i can highlight the table sent in email and sort it like an ordinary word/excel table (for you, games (descending), avg (descending), OBP (descedning), then alpha (ascending), for example). perhaps that helps.

I think the intent of listing in batting order was to mimic how they appeared in the game, Perhpas FTM could put on its wish list, to "multi sort" something like above, to force game = 0 to bottom...

Just to be clear, I don't mind seeing all players on the line-up card. What I was hoping for was actually filtering such that all those whose state of game=1 would be listed above any that had game=0 while maintaining the line-up of the starting line-up. This mostly affects those that were later substituted in. sorry to hear that this is a low priority. Seems like a easy fix but if you say so.

The sorting of game=1 vs game=0 is something we could actually probably do sooner. The idea of users selecting to show or not show players on the lineup who did not have play time would be lower priority (because it is really a preference setting --- there is no right or wrong answer to it).

Thank you.

As always FTM is on it.

For batting, I would sort games (descending, to solve Brents problem), then avg (descending), and probably next OBP (descedning), then alpha (for ties), I tend to like OBP, but some may like SLG or other better, not sure what most newspapers do for ties in avg.

thanks FTM

Thanks for listening. It is not really that important to me if there are stats for people in the lineup where game=0. I don't really want to remove them either. As you have stated before, these players were "available" for play in the game. However, more important to me is the filtering of game=1 players. I would vote in favor of this being implemented sooner than later.
