Quick Play (Swipe On Out) Request

Post by unforgivnn » Tue Jul 13, 2010 5:37 pm

Hello-

I absolutely LOVE the quick play option available when you hold and swipe the "out" button. Having quick access to things like a 6-4-3 double play is a great time saver. Wanted to make a suggestion for when there are two outs and a runner on first.

Currently, the app is smart enough to know that the double play options shouldn't be displayed. Instead, it correctly displays commons plays such as 4-3, 5-3, 6-3, 1-3, etc plays. However, since there is a runner on first, how about showing some plays such as 4-6, 6-4, 5-4, 5-6 in addition to the existing options. It's not uncommon, particularly on the third base side, for either the third baseman or the shortstop to go to second instead of first for the final out of the inning.

Thanks for a great product!

occasionally my wife will be scoring a game (if I go to take pictures, or I am on the road). She (like other's new to scoring) don't always remember the numbers for each position. She suggested that on quick outs screen, show the diamond with position numbers in the large amount of white space (we are using iPad) below the quickout buttons. This isn't as big a deal when not doing quickouts because you tap on the poistions that toched the ball.
