I had an infield fly rule yesterday and had the opportunity to use the button for the first time. While it doesn't really matter in that situation if the ball is actually caught, I was surprised to not have to enter who actually made the catch in this case (or if the ball is actually caught, is it better to not mark it IFR?).
Thanks,
ben

Re: Infield fly rule and denoting who actually makes the catch
When we start dealing with defensive statistics, we will add support for who made the catch. In the case of infield fly rule, even if it is dropped, the player that SHOULD have made the catch is credited with the play defensively.
