Allow logins to different accounts from the device....
If you just allowed the iphone/ipod app to let you log into a different account ID, you wouldn't have to share data necessarily. I just put the iscore app on my son's ipod because I wanted to start using his because of better battery life. Then I noticed it didn't have the same account ID nor could I log out and back into my current account. When the the application loaded on the new device it created a new account ID. Can you update the app to allow log out/in on the options screen????? I don't need another account to keep up with.

Scoring is done on individual devices, not the server. Otherwise you would have to be connected in order to score a game (and iPod Touches would typically not have internet connectivity at the field). Each device can have an account on our servers as well for backups / Admin Website usage.
The version we submitted to the App Store yesterday actually adds the ability to share data between devices, and one of the ways of doing it is to log into the web account of the second device and pull data in (much like what you are asking to do).

Well. That does make sense. But when you are scoring a game you don't need a network connection. Only when you import/export do you need a network connection. I'd like to open the ipod touch and log into my original account and score the rest of the season and import/export that when I get home and have a network (for backups from the device). It does sound like what you are adding will work but with more steps involved. Although, it doesn't sound like you would need a new app for the device to achieve that, just an update to the web interface. I'll wait and see.
Thanks for your quick response.
