Hi, just a suggestion when importing stats from your app -- calculations such as batting average should be in the following format - .000 and yours comes over as 0.000. Its' more of a cosmetic issue, but it is standard in baseball. You always see .300 for example, and not 0.300. It's cumbersome to have to reformat every time I import stats.
Thanks
Tony
Minor stats formatting suggestion
Re: Minor stats formatting suggestion
Sounds like you already know how to set up a custom format. If you are going to it many times consider setting up a macro.
I have two macros that I use. One if for game stats and the other for team stats. In these macros I also reduce the column width. Most columns are wider than they need to be.

Re: Minor stats formatting suggestion
HI Larry, right now after I copy and paste the stats into my main spreadsheet I do a "format painter" and copy the format of the existing stats into the ones I just copied. So I am able to adjust the cells but it would certainly save a couple of steps. Plus, it's simply the correct format for baseball. I never see a 0.000 format for batting and other averages. It's always .000.
Thanks,
Tony
