Scorecard - note pitches for in-at-bat events?

Post by Alan_A » Fri Jan 30, 2015 1:40 pm

As promised in my other entry, one scorecard-related request. Would you consider a way of noting in the scorecard the pitch on which an in-at-bat event occurred? For example, circle the pitch(es) in the ball/strike squares where there was a stolen base, caught stealing, wild pitch, passed ball, balk, etc. Understood that those events can be flagged with notes in the pitch-by-pitch/edit game screen, but it'd be nice to have that information available at a glance in the scorecard itself.

Again, thanks for considering!

Thank you for the suggestion. This type of thing is exactly what notes are for, and it shows the notes on the scorecard with the count at the point the note was entered. Circling a pitch does not seem to give any info other than "something" happened whereas a note can tell you exactly what occurred.

Ah, that makes sense. Something I've got to get used to - remembering that the "pitches with notes" page is part of the scorecard, not a supplement. On paper I'd mark up the main page of the scorecard (your first page). I'll have to train myself to enter notes for pitch-specific happenings. All part of the process. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
