Sending Notes to Audience on iSorecast

Post by KCGully » Fri Apr 25, 2014 9:43 am

I'd love to be able to update the iScorecast with notes to our viewers.

For example: a player is hurt, or there is a non-rain type delay. For example: "The game has been delayed while a player is helped off the field"

Or, the ability to send notes about milestones, etc: "With that hit, the team is now 12-of-its last 14."

Thanks

The ability to post notes to viewers exists under notes. Anything posted here will appear in iscorecast. I often use it in similar circumstances.

See similar thread here. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8403&p=36563&hilit=+notes#p36563" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There is a way to set up shortcuts with ipad and iphone (I don't know about android) which can save you time for common circumstances. (I have not done this myself, but if you need instructions, I'm sure someone here could help.)

For example you could create a shortcut to type in rr and it brings up the text "Inning ended due to run rule." Other suggestions from other threads are cvm: "coach visiting mound" and pc: "pitching change". Some complain about the time it takes to enter notes so this would be a solution to common situations.

Agree with using ios keyboard shortcuts! They are great. Wish Android had something similar.
