Subbing

Post by Bodycrab » Wed Jan 06, 2010 4:48 pm

When I sub a player in the batting order(mid game) I'd don't want to see the player I subed for hit areas. So in the 3rd inning I sub batter four for a bench player it will show that the new player hit to ....say.... Left field in the 1st inning. When really the player hasn't batted yet. The reason I'd like to see this change is when I sub the player from the other team. I like to tell my team where the player has hit in previous innings as it is now the player hasn't batted yet but it looks as if the player has hit to left field. Now I put my batter four back into the game but now he's batting ninth it dosent show that he when to left in the first.

We have tested and confirmed that when a batting sub comes in it does not show the previous players batting location. If you are experiencing a different behavior we would like to examine your data. Please Export and email us at support @fasterthanmonkeys.com with your customer ID (found under the Export button). It would be very helpful if you had an existing game or could set up a dummy game where the sub is currently at bat but showing the hit location of the person he subbed for. If you leave the game in that state and export then we should be able to quickly locate the issue.

That used to happen to me two or three revisions ago. You might want to make sure you are on the current version of the program.
