New layout on iPad?

Post by casper » Wed May 15, 2013 1:44 pm

Tried searching the forums and can't find this answer. I think I'm in my 4th year of iScore, all on iPad. I don't remember what my original version was, but I upgraded when it came out and it now reads version 4.04. Early this season, my buddy bought the new version, and his layout is better than mine (he has more content on the screen than I).

I think the deal is that I have an iPhone version (if memory serves, that's all there was when I bought it). If that's the case... is there a way I can upgrade to the bigger tablet version, or do I need to export data, kill the old one, and then import the tables back into the tablet version?

You do need to buy the new universal version(works on iPhone and iPad) as Apple will not allow you to transfer the account. However, once you buy the new app, just send iscore Support an email with both device id's and they can do a full transfer. You'll need to do an export from the new app to setup your admin site and password first but they can take care of the rest. If you have team websites they can also point those to the new app as well.

fwiw... the iPad version came out day 1 of release of the iPad. Apple even featured iScore for iPad the first day of the iPad's release.
