To help with slow pitch softball

Post by dugie484 » Fri Oct 19, 2012 7:17 pm

Are you able to add a MI which is for a 5th infielder in positions. i know we can just use the OF guy but it just doesn't look right with the 4 outfielders why scoring or watching. If you can add MI position and place him in between pitcher and center fielder on the map it would make it more presentable.

almost all slow pitch games now batter starts with a 1-1 count, are you able to have an option to reduce the number of balls or strikes by 1 before a walk or strikeout or have it an option to default to 1-1 count.

possible to add home run for out key, easy work around by just hitting fly out, but this doesn't allow us to track how many home runs each guy has hit for an out.

USSSA has adopted a flip flop rule to try and help speed up the games, what happens is if the home team is losing by the mercy rule or more to start the inning, they stay and hit a 2nd time and they flip the home team and visitors. We can flip flop home/visitors before the game but would be nice to have an option to flip flop the home/visitors during a game.

The last one is in NSA, they have a progressive home run rule. For every home run you hit over the limit you have to give runs to the other team. in misc section it would be nice to have an option to add runs for either team that doesn't effect a players individual statistics.

thanks

Thank you for the requests. We will use them to help adjust our priorities as we continue to improve iScore.

just an fyi... you can use Out, Strikeout at any time --- don't have to enter 3 strikes. You can use In Play, Base on Balls at any time, don't have to wait for 4 balls.

We will likely never have a "swap home/visitor" as that is not really what is happening. You can use Misc -> End Inning at any time however to bring the other team back to the plate so this should satisfy the flip flop requirement for any inning.
