Error Recording

Post by zbop » Thu Oct 11, 2012 11:46 am

It would be nice if you could mark the error on a fielder as a "fielding error" or a "throwing error" so that later on you could look back and see what needs work
for that player. Just an Ef or Et would be sufficient.

this request has come up periodically .. hope to see it as an Option in a future version, prompt after an error to designate fielding or throwing, but optional that you can turn off if you do not want the additional keystrokes.

I see with recent update that this functionality has been added. See it on fielding stats - but don't see where to enter during pitch by pitch. It just had 'error' and defaulted in stats as fielding - unfortunately for my team today, 4 were throwing. How do I take advantage of this enhancement being added?

From the Options screen when creating a game (or tapping the Options button on the scoring screen), turn on the Advanced Scoring, and you will be able to select Fielding vs Throwing for each error.
