scorecard PDF tweaks

Post by malberts » Wed May 02, 2012 11:54 am

First year of using iscore, I was a a paper and pencil guy for a while, but love the iscore system and cant look back. with that said I do have a few suggestions. Mainly on the scorecard. I print my final scorecards and archive them in a binder and later take them to spring training where I get some of them signed by players on the games they had milestones or personal bests that year.

With iscore the PDF that comes with the scorecard has pitching on a separate page. To keep it more traditional, It would be nice to see all pitching stats liner on the same page under the score card. Keep the PDF one page and when you look back at them the whole game can be seen.

2nd suggestion is when when a pitcher changes, could that name be printed on the scorecard horizontal of that batter (in the appropriate box)? just like you do on the P&P versions. and the PH printed vertical (in the appropriate box) This way when viewing the scorecard the flow of the game is more evident.

Thanks for all the hard work!

Thank you for the suggestions. It is not likely that we will be putting the pitching information on the page with the scoring boxes... we include the pitch charts in the data, and in youth ball, sometimes the hitting charts can have 10, 12, 15, or even more batters (leagues allow all players to bat). So putting pitching data on that same page would wind up shrinking it too much and not allow the inclusion of the pitch location data.

We will likely be adding the purple line in for when a batter changes in an upcoming release. We already have the purple line when the pitcher changes.
