Add photos to home page

Post by markbrandenburg » Sat Feb 04, 2012 7:45 am

Is there a way to add a photo to the homepage without adding it to the photos page? I set up a link to a flickr account that shows a slideshow of photos on the team photo page but cannot add a separate photo there so that it can be used on the home page. Therefore, can you add the ability to add a photo to the homepage by selecting a photo on your computer instead of uploading it to the team photo page first? Or can you tell me how I can add a single photo to the team photo page when it already points to a flickr slideshow?

Thanks,
Mark

When you are inserting an image on your home page, there is an entry box for "Image URL". You can put the URL of any image on the internet into that box. So for an image that already exists on flickr, you should be able to copy that URL right into this box.

For images that are uploaded / managed by the iScore Website, uploading to the photos tab is the only way to manage the image. You can select those images from the Dropdown box when inserting an image instead of needing the URL.

I tried copying the URL of the photo on flickr and it didn't work.

If Flickr is not allowing the image to be used then you would have to sve it somewhere else and use the URL from there or upload it to the photos tab and use it from there.
