Printable lineup cards

Post by mstephenson » Tue Aug 09, 2011 10:43 am

It would save me buying a lot of lineup cards if there was a feature in the lineup manager that allowed for a lineup card to be emailed as a PDF and then printed.

Are there not functions from within iScore where you can send a file to a wireless printer? This lineup card would certainly nice to have but I think it would necessitate the printer close by to be any use and also internet connection and I'm not sure how practical this would be.

Some users accomplish this by starting the game (Play button), then exiting back to the scoring screen and emailing themselves an empty Scorecard and printing that. You can then Undo to be back to pre-game scoring state.

FTM- interesting approach, (had not thought of it)... printing scorecard as line up card would work For a team batting all, but it would not show available subs for a team and ump that manages subs. The traditional size and format would be better for the ump in those type games..

Az- building on FTM, if using iOS and have an air print printer, the scorebook can be printed right from device skipping email right now...

Brian - Yes There are a few things on iOS devices that you can "air print" ... (like pdf of scorebook) .. And yea that reguires the right physical environment (network and printer)

Work around is ok but an option to print lineup card would be much more efficient. Can this be added to the list of enhancements?

someone else (tigers perhaps) reminded us you can also take a screen shot of your line up screen and email it/print it that way too.

Yes, you can take a screen shot (hold down home button and top button together) then go to photos and print from there. I have done that with the end game summary to turn in score sheets at tournaments.
