Time Codes

Post by PetroGuy » Thu Sep 29, 2011 11:01 am

This is a request from a new coach I am working with. He videos entire games and would like a time stamp of events for use with his video software. Currently he has to stamp events manually such as inning changes, each batter, etc.... With these stamps, he can quickly isolate, for example, all of the at bats of each player. I know there have been many calls to have the pitch-by-pitch output in some form or other. If that ever comes to pass, having an option to time stamp the events would be great. The stamp could take the form of either an absolute time, or a relative time (time since the 'play' button was pressed). I could use it on the play-by-play report also.

We store the timestamps internally and can create them both as relative to start of game and as real world timestamps. We have some third parties integrating video solutions with these timestamps, and we have a "data feed" service that these their parties can use to get access to the data. If the coach is using a third party video software, you can ask him to have them contact us at support@iscoresports.com about a possible integration with what we can provide.
