3rd strike foul tip out

IScore, I think you should add this outcome when a batter reaches 2 strikes and record it in the play by play. When a better has strike 2 the catcher can certainly catch a foul tip into his glove.

thanks for the feedback.. this has been mentioned multiple times before and is on FTM list for consideration. the more requests the more it influences prioritization. so please keep ideas coming..

for reference, a foul tip caught is just a strike, ball live (not even a foul).. it is just another strike for statistics purposes if not caught then a foul. dead ball .

With 2 strikes, caught foul tip is recorded as a third strike swinging and strike out, it does not change stats,
for those of us that find it neat to know it was a caught foul tip, , (particularly catcher fathers). we just make a note in the notes section. Similar to proud coach when a fielder makes a spectacular diving catch put out.. or bullet throw.. the stats show the out, and assist we note the extra effort in notes..

I agree that I would like this button. Adds a little more depth and description. Was hoping it would be in the update yesterday. Thought enough people said they wanted it. But yes, I just record it as strike 3 swinging.
