A small enhancement that I hope is not difficult to do. It would be great to have the batting numbers on the left side of the lineup screen when putting in the lineup. I don't know if you can squeeze the moveable name line over a scoach to add #s or not. It is great during the game to have the number there, it would just be nice to have the number show on the lineup screen too when arranging player so and so in the 6 hole.
Another change that would make it easier is if when starting a new game, the lineup used in the last game would show up in the new game, rather than the lineup shown on the Team manager page.

Re: Batter numbers on lineup screen and using most recent lineup
Great idea on the batting order # appearing in the lineup screen. We will definitely add that to a future version.
For the default lineup, the best way to get this working is to actually set up the "most used" lineup in Team Manager since that is always the default. But maybe we can add a "set as default" button or something in the lineup screen. Would not want to just always default to the last because you might have one rare game that is different, and it would be better for that to just be an exception than to have it automatically be the default the next game.
Thank you.

Re: Batter numbers on lineup screen and using most recent lineup
I would like to add my support for the numbers in Lineup. My son is in an adult league and I don't get the roster so I am building lineups as the game goes on. I do not really even know most of the player names so need to add and rearrange based upon number only. For now, I print out a full roster by numerical order and use that as a reference.
I have coached for thirty years in HS and I am a tech dir, so I am familiar with most products out there. I was spoiled as an official scorer for a local league and a coach because I always had the rosters before the game began. Another feature in addition to the default lineup would be the ability to copy a lineup from a previous game (as in Turbostats). This allows you to apply specialty lineups based upon R/L Pitching, Competitive/Non-Competitive teams, etc. Thanks - I love the program, but

Re: Batter numbers on lineup screen and using most recent lineup
We have the batting order numbers already implemented in iScore 2.0 (formerly called 1.70, submitting to Apple any day now). Here is a first look at a screenshot showing the lineup with the numbers.
As you drag to rearrange the lineup, the numbers update accordingly.
The "Sync" button is new with the optional new MLB add on, and allows you to get updated rosters / statistics / and even daily lineups for major league teams (not useful for folks scoring their children's / local games, but a request we have had from several users that like to score MLB games).

Re: Batter numbers on lineup screen and using most recent lineup
We are going to be setting the price of MLB updates at $19.99/year... that includes daily updates to all team rosters, player statistics, and also daily lineups.
Since the 2009 season is half complete, it will be just $9.99 for the remainder of this season.
We are going to provide in-app purchasing for those of you with iPhone OS 3.0, and a way to purchase through our website using a credit card or PayPal for those with iPhone OS 2.x (since it does not support in-app purchases).
Thank you.
