Delete entire play

Post by CaN » Sat May 14, 2011 7:14 pm

I mistakenly said a player reached base on an error, but in fact he continued his at bat and struck out. Of course, this wrecked my batting order for the rest of the game. If I could just delete the entire error entry and add a strike, all would be fine, but I can't, right? There is no option I can find to change this. Why not?

CaN..... you are not a rookie to this board...

As posted and discussed numerous times on the forum, you can edit some plays in pitch by pitch, or can manually overwrie stats. But universal edit is not built into the program at this time due to interdependencies .

Yep, I've been around the block a few times, but I still don't get why I can't just delete an entire play and the system can't adjust to that. I thought maybe I was missing something in the p-b-p edit. Oh well. Disappointing.

JMO, however If I had the choice of pencil and eraser in order to be able to change at will or using iScore with it's lack of universal editing, I choose iScore by a mile. We all make mistakes scoring and yes it would be great to post game edit those mistakes but for a $10 app there has to be limitations on expectation. Iscore is a tremendous app for the money.
