Tracking pitch type from previous at bats

Our team pitching strategy depends on what pitch a batter hit or struck out on. I have read another suggestion to have this feature added. My suggestion is to color the dot on the end of the line depicted in the hit chart to correspond with the color of the dot for that particular pitch type and for a strike out, place the corresponding dot next to the K or somewhere on the score card.



Not having the ability to see historical pitch type data for a hitter is the only thing keeping me from completely ditching the pen and paper.

The Edge product looks pretty good, but I am looking for realtime in game pitch tracking on balls put in play or strikeout that can be referenced each time a batter is up.

Example: player #44 last at bat grounded out to short on a changeup low and away. This tells me a lot on how to pitch him this at bat and by having any historical data on his spray chart as to pitch type will also help. I can take advantage of tendencies with pitch type, location and defensive alignment.

So the historical data provided would come in handy if we played a team more than once, but our team rarely plays the same team twice in a season or if we do, it may be in a tournament with no time to import/export data or just not having web access at the field.
