At the last game I scored, a pinch hitter came in for the Brewers pitcher when the team was at bat, and then I forgot to put in the new pitcher when the Brewers took the field again (fortunately I didn't get so far that I couldn't undo and re-enter what had taken place in the mean time). I know it has been suggested to display some stats between halves of innings (which I support), but I think it would be helpful to remind the scorer that a position is empty, perhaps asking to select a new player for the position.

Re: Alerting to empty postions when starting an inning
This is an interesting request... the biggest downside is there are many people who score games without entering player positions at all, so they would not want to be prompted that players are missing in positions each inning. It is actually not required to have the positions assigned in order to score a game.
With version 1.70 (or 2.0 if we go with that), you will be able to make position changes retroactively, so if you forgot to make a change, it could be corrected later. Hopefully this wil alleviate the issue.
