Having the ability to take the data from the iPhone/iTouch/iPad/Android and bring it into the computer (sync) would be fan-tastic. This will allow users the opportunity to be able to make corrections, updates, and review stats on a larger platform with the ability to share the data more easily; whether they are sharing the boxscore from the game or the season statistics.
I think iScore is a great app, but is missing the boat by not having a desktop/pc/mac version. I keep boxscore for my son's travel and park teams on an iTouch. I wish that I was able to sync the iTouch data from iScore to my laptop when I get home so that I can clean it up, as I find myself spending more time doing it on the iTouch than it would take on the computer if it was available. Plus not all contacts are in my iTouch that I want to send the boxscore too. So now I have to email it myself then send it out again to those that I want which is creating double work.

Have you looked into the optional Team Web site subscription? it provides a whole lot of benefits in sharing info and sorting stats on a big screen.
also As it is today, w/o additional fees, iscore is structured to let you email into excel all the stats, from there you can do more sophisticated sorts calcs combinations and distributions.

I score for more than one team, and each is in a different league, so I would need multiple Team Web Subscriptions.
It is great that you can email an excel file; but having the ability to adjust exact play information, and the ability to view the data in the native app for all teams/leagues and not just the data as an export file is of more importance. This is why having the ability to sync with a desktop version would be fan-tastic.
Re: Desktop/Laptop Software
I run the scoreboard and keep the book for my son's high school team. The three high schools in our town all have laptops they use for sounds and music and at least one of them keeps score with the laptop.
It would be nice if we could use this one for that too. There are other products out there, and I'd pay more than $10 for it on a laptop gladly.

Re: Desktop/Laptop Software
I'm glad I am not the only one hoping for a laptop version. 07outback hit the nail right on the head!
Re: Desktop/Laptop Software
I understand what you are saying. I have one of the other programs for the laptop; I paid over $100 for it. It is a great program don't get me wrong and I would not complain at all about the price either; as it takes a great deal of support to create and maintain an app like this. But iScore has a simply amazing interface with ease of operation and convenience of not being tied down to the scorers table. I wish there was a way to sync both products together or even better yet an iScore app for the desktopbgdeuce wrote:I run the scoreboard and keep the book for my son's high school team.
