Report on positions played through season
Re: Report on positions played through season
Add me to the list. Specifically, I would like to see this information somewhere in my team website.
Re: Report on positions played through season
I like stats per position too.
I just started using iscore for our youth Spring season (starts in 3 weeks) and would like to also be able to assign multiple positions to each player, on the Add Player screen. Then at game time, or before, assign one of those positions to each player for the start of the game. Lineups for each game are usually different for us, to give the players experience around the field on defense.
Some players don't pitch, don't catch, can't play short, etc. Some might be able to play any position.
Just a 'left field' suggestion.

@ CreigN Welcome !
FYI -- iscore currently lets you make unlimited substitutions. It also lets you collect fielding stats by player by game (and cumulative) (just does not differentiate yet fielding stats by player by position, just by game)
sounds like what you are looking for is unlimited substitutions. which it does, ie youth ball where Joey plays first for couple innings, right for a couple and sits on the bench a couple. then next game plays left, short and third. you can sub defensively on any play. (just tap on a defensive icon at any time) . iscore lets you make those substitutions real time "as you see them happen". iscore also lets you make those substitutions after the fact in pitch by pitch editor , if you forget to do real time (and remember after wards, who was where by play/inning).
It also sounds like you may be interested in a feature due soon in v3.0 for iOS which was submitted to apple last night. they said v 3.0 will have a new feature to let you preset the defensive positions by inning vs making the changes on the fly as you go. (thanks FTM)
Iscore will continue to track fielding stats for the whole game by player in V3.0, but it will not not differentiate at what position he collected those stats, just in what game. the request that started this tread was to be able to collect and then see the stats by position breakdown (a much longer feature addition, than what will be included in v 3.0)
