Reorder the leagues?
Reorder the leagues?
My friends and I play Strat-o-matic baseball and I've taken to scoring the games using your wonderful app. I was wondering if there was a way to reorder the leagues. We came in with just the 1994 season, but have added a couple more. But, when I look at the leagues, they are in the order I put them in. I'd really love to have it in some sort of order (1994, 1995, 1999, 2001 etc.) as opposed to that haphazard order. (1994, 1999, 2001, 1995)
Thanks for your attention.

Re: Reorder the leagues?
Yeah, that would pretty a useful feature. I'd like to see that too.

Re: Reorder the leagues?
The next release acutally has them sorting in alphabetical order by name. We do not have a date yet for the next release, but it will be soon.

Re: Reorder the leagues?
That will be a great start.
Re: Reorder the leagues?
I am stumped/confused. League Manager does sort leagues alphabetically?
Re: Reorder the leagues?
Nope, just by the order you entered the league in.
Re: Reorder the leagues?
Are we talking about sorting on the device in league manager or the web site.. iPad or iPhone?
My leagues are all sorted alphabetically under league manager on my device, I use funny names to force sort.. Z archive. And aa Current season to float to top and end..
Some times i have to exit out and come back in for it to alphabetize but it does.
FTM - what am I missing here?

Re: Reorder the leagues?
Actually OhioTex is right, the Leagues have been sorting alphabetically for a long time.
Our best guess at this point is you are using an iOS device wth MutliTasking, and have not truly shut down iScore in a while. When you add new leagues, they are added to the end of the list "in memory" on your device. When the list gets reloaded from the database on your device, they will be loaded alphabetically. With the addition of MultiTasking starting with iOS 4.x, people often do not shut down applications, they leave them in the task tray.
If you actually shut down iScore and reopen it, you should see the leagues in alphabetical order. To do this, go to your iOS Home Screen. Then double-tap the "home button" (circle button on bottom of device). The currently running applications will appear at the bottom. Scroll if needed to get to iScore. Press and hold your finger on iScore, then tap the minus sign to actually shut iScore down. (NOTE: This only exists on iOS 4.x+. Do not press and hold your finger on the iScore on the home page or it will remove the application from your device. Only do it in the task tray that opens.)
After shutting iScore down completely, when you reopen it, the leagues will be in alphabetical order.
