Career Stats

Post by gmanpool » Mon Feb 07, 2011 7:28 pm

Guys, this app is AWESOME. I am in a softball league and was wondering about transferring stats of my teammates to the website somehow.

I don't think it would be difficult to set up as an option, which would then update as I inputted new boxscores.

You have something awesome here, which I'm sure lots of managers like me would love to use for their leagues!

Let me know.

You can score for as many teams, players, or games as you would like. iScore will keep cumulative statistics for all the games you score. We do not have a way to enter pre-calculated statistics data, but as long as you are using iScore to score all the games, then career statistics can be kept.

If that is not what you are asking, if you can give a little more detail on what you are trying to do we can give a better answer. Thank you.

I have been on the same team since 2002 but just got the app now. I'd like to add in the old stats and then build from there using this season's games.

We do not currently have a way to enter stats for games that were not scored with iScore. We have a trick that may work for your situation, but it is more of a workaround than anything. What you can try is creating a new game with the players you have historical data for, start scoring the game, then use Misc->End Game. You can then go back to Game Manager, select the game, then select the Statistics for your team. You can then tap any of the stats from that screen and enter "overrides" that could be your cumulative career numbers. Those stats would then be included in future cumulative stats calculations.
