Cannot get Iphone and Ipad to sync

How do I sync up my I Phone with my I Pad so they have the same data? I keep score on my I pad and I cannot get the data to sync on my I Phone
There are two methods to do this. You can either data share or copy your entire database.
Data share:

Copy entire database:

They will not automatically stay in sync.
