How to score fielding inadvertently leaving field

Batter hits a foul ball with runner on first. First baseman catches foul ball for the out but his momentum carries him through an open gate. Runner is awarded second I suppose because fielder left the field of play. Couldn't find a way to explain runner advancing in Iscore so I used defensive interference so I could continue scoring the game and made a note As to what happened. Question is what rule covers the award of the base and what is correct way to record it in Iscore. Probably doesn't happen a lot I'm sure

You would use Safe, Second, Ball Out of Play.
