Turn off Pitching Stats

Post by sheaster » Thu Mar 27, 2014 5:43 am

i use iScore for my sons 7U CoachPitch/MachinePitch Tournament team. when placing a player as the pitch(who is not really pitching) the Pitching stats are recorded for that player, even though he is not pitching. Can the Pitching stats be turned off so that the stats are not recorded for that player that is in the pitching poss.

You can hide all the pitching stats from your reports if you would like. See the "Rearranging / Picking Stats" sub-section in the following section of the iScore documentation:

That just hides the recorded stats. Is it possible to turn the states off. so that it doesn't record the stats at all.

Stats will always be recorded. You can leave the pitcher position unassigned and then no stats will be assigned to any players in the pitching position, or you can create a player called "coach" and put that player in the pitching position if you would like.

Functionally, it seems that hiding the stats you are not interested in would give you the same result however.
