EXPORT CRASHES WITH iPAD 1

This has been a recent phenomenon and it's driving me crazy. Seems that apple has automatically put bugs in the iPad 1. Don't want to go into that now but EVERYONE I know with an original iPad now has issues with speed, crashing, etc.

My problem is that when I try to export my info uploading it from my ipad, iscore hangs for a second and then crash closes out of program. Sometimes when I reboot it will export. Otherwise it is taking as many as 10 "trys" before it finally uploads.

Is this a bug? Is there something I need to do? Of course, Apple is so sweet --- the original ipads cannot update to the latest operating system, etc Anyway, I figure you will know best what for me to do ... and hopefully I am just an idiot and it's an easy fix.

Anyone else having this issue?

Thanks,

Eddie

Completely resetting the iPad is the only advice we know in that case. Press and hold the home and power button until the Apple logo appears and the device does a full reset. Then try doing the export again. The problem with the original iPad is the amount of memory it has (internal memory, not storage space). As Apple updated iOS, it made the memory required by the OS larger and larger to the point that the original iPads are really being squeezed for available memory. So any running programs, and/or "leaks" from running programs and even iOS itself can cause issues with speed, crashing, etc as you have seen. It is not something we can change in the App itself, but usually a reset as described above will free enough of the "leaked" memory that you will then be able to do an export.

I have an iPad1 ... (3G AT&T model)

I have not experienced iScore export crash problems

I have found my safari browser Crashes often ...

Sometime last year- after iOS 7 . I totally wiped my iPad 1 to factory settings and intentionally
stripped down my ipad1 to minimal apps, Iscore , browser and mlb at bat .
I don't even synch w my iCloud contacts email calendar or photo any more… but still experience safari close on regular basis. I do hope iscore does not end up that way. right now i use it just fine

I sold my ipad1 a while back and upgraded to ipad4...for the very reason of the constant crashes (not necessarily with iscore, but in general).

I think ios 5 (the last available upgrade for ipad1) was too much for it. Problem became, you needed ios5 to run many apps, but the device couldnt run that os very well, in my opinion.

Apple purposely did it to try and force upgrade. Iscore i hope will do something in an update to make this not happen. I will never buy an appke product again. Thir business model is great for the bottom line but not for the customer, my opinion.

I disagree...technology advances. I wouldnt want apple to hold back on future OS and app development simply to make sure that they can run on their old devices.

But, there is no question, this fact benefits apple (and all manufacturers).

I haven't been able to export in over a month now. Has anyone able to send games over to another iPad with Bluetooth?
