Passed ball or wild pitch goes to the backstop, runner on third attempts to take home. He is put out 2-1. A PB or WP is charged, however the runner is not charged with caught stealing. How can this entered using iScore? I'm not finding the correct options....

A narrative on the scoring rule is here: http://baseballscoring.wordpress.com/si ... len-bases/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Rule 10.07(h) Comment: In those instances where a pitched ball eludes the catcher and the runner is put out trying to advance, the official scorer shall not charge any “caught stealing.” The official scorer shall not charge any caught stealing when a runner is awarded a base due to obstruction or when a runner is called out due to interference by the batter. The official scorer shall not charge a runner with a caught stealing if such runner would not have been credited with a stolen base had such runner been safe (for example, when a catcher throws the runner out after such runner tries to advance after a ball that had eluded the catcher on a pitch).

You would just tap the runner and use "Tagged Out" and enter 2-1. Our understanding is it is also not a passed ball or wild pitch as those only occur if a runner advances a base. It is simply a tagged out play.

There is no WP or PB charged as defense made an out

If there was a runner on first or second.
