Displaying the # of errors committed while Pitcher A is on

As the topic says, is there any way to display the number of defensive errors committed while a specific pitcher is pitching. You can display the number of air outs/ground outs etc, but for my own edification I was hoping to be able to show that while Player A pitched, the defense had x number of errors and then be able to quantify it further with 'average errors per inning pitched'.

No, we do not track a stat like that. We will add it to our enhancement list. Earned Runs take errors into account of course, so the ERA takes that into account... pitchers do not get "dinged" for runners on base by error.

That would be great if it could be an option to select for reporting. I understand that it is eventually tracked with the earned run/unearned. But it would be interesting even for pitch count if there are 2 outs and an error is committed, then all the pitches beyond that point are 'wasted' pitches because you should have been out of the inning already.. It would also be interesting to see how defensively a team does when 'A' vs 'B' pitches.

I know, just another statistic to muddy the water.

My first reaction was not a stat commonly tracked and part of earned vs un earned runs and can get it from the book..., but on further thought would be nice to have. I second this

We track lead off errors by pitcher .. Why not total errors ??

I understand it won't align perfectly to era due to rules on passed balls and inherited runners.
But just when on mound error occurs, tally it up. It is not a positive or negative to pitcher. Just a stat. I am sure one would also want to know PB
