game notification for viewers

Is there a method, besides twitter, to notify fans that a game has begun? For example, fans might sign up to be notified each time that a new game is begun for the user with ID XXXXXXXX. Your system would then email all of those fans with a link to the game. I realize that you do this with Twitter but my older user base does not use Twitter.

IScore does not have automated text or email notification functions.

You can email iscorecast game links but it is not automated/pre scheduled

You can also send them a web link for the season that will list all games ( past/present) for the season instead of every game .

But iScore does not 'text' messages

Even people without a Twitter account can receive the notifications via SMS (text messaging on phones). Just create a Twitter account for your team (like @MyGreatTeam), and then users can send a text message to 40404 with "Follow @MyGreatTeam", and any time there is a tweet to that account, the user will be notified. With the automatic Tweets from iScore, people can get SMS alerts every time a new game starts.
