Merged player has double stats

I am scoring for a new team, I didnt know one of the girls names at first, so she was scored as Player 11 for the first game. In games 2-4 she was scored under her real name. I went to the first game and renamed Player 11 to the girls name, which then gave me two players under player manager with the same name. So I chose to merge the 2 players, but now her stats are doubled, the stats say she has played in 8 games instead of 4, double the plate appearances, etc.
The team manager stats on batting show her playing in 8 games, naming each of the games twice. I tried going to game manager and editing her at bats, (it lists her twice here), so if I edit one of her stats, it automatically does it for both times her name is listed?
Need to erase the 4 games or stats, so she has played in only 4 actual games like the rest of the team. Any help?

Do not Deleate anything
The description you are providing does not make sense, try recalcing your teams stats
Go into team manager > team stats > recalc.... see if that clears it up
What device are you using And do you have most current app ? (from android market place or apple App Store)

I took a screen shot of the screens and have them on my computer, but dont know how to post an image in the forum

I made sure the app was up to date, and it is on an ipad mini.

I followed the link, and tried everything it said, after export and optimize now (tried twice) she was not listed as a player deleted. She is also not listed twice in the player manager list. I also double checked that all leagues was checked. Cant figure it out at all

I am putting a link to the screenshot pics from my ipad, hopefully that works. (I am obviously as bad at posting pics to forums as I am at iscore)
Just cant understand why it would say she has played in 8 games, when I only scored 4 games that day? and all other players on team only say 4?

The other possibility is the player is listed in the starting lineup of both home + visitor (or twice on home or visitor) for a single game. You can check this by going to Game Manager, select the game, select Pitch by Pitch, tap the Game Starts event, tap Edit next to Starting Lineup, and check the Home + Visitor lineups to see if the player is listed twice. If so, remove the duplicate, or remove the player from the wrong team's lineup, and it should correct the game count.
If this does not help, then if you can do an Options -> Export and email your customer ID to
support@iscoresports.com and let us know the player(s), we can take a look at your data to see what is going on.
