How to get full season stats into Excel?

When emailing the stats at the end of the game, there's a file called, "gamestats.xls". I would like a version of that file that includes the stats from every game for the season, but only for our team.

I don't want to have to copy and paste out 3 tabs (hitting, pitching, and fielding) from 50+ worksheets to combine it myself.

Is this possible? Or is there another way?

Thanks!

If you go to Team Manager, select your team, select Stats, and email from there, an Excel file with the cumulative stats is sent.

Thanks, that's good, but I should have been more specific. I want each game's detail. I want all of the stats for the individual game so that I can see a player's performance from game to game. I could also see hit streaks, or how they did in the Month of May or a 5-game tournament.

A big thing that I can't find either is playing time at each position. I get fielding % by position, but how many innings were at that position and how many chances? We have boys that are moving all over and I can't track time spent at each position.

Finally, where are all of the statistics that are in the Statistics Legend? Why are they in the Legend if their not available? Do I need to buy an additional add-on? Groundball %? 1st pitch swing? How many 10-pitch innings did he have? Is there something else I need to purchase?

Please understand, I'm a big fan, but the stat reporting is the apps biggest deficiency. But I don't mind doing it myself with Excel. I just need to get access to the data.

thanks so much for the quick response!

No additional purchase is required - the stats are all there. You just have to turn on the ones you want to see. For most people, if we showed them all by default it would be overwhelming, so we show a default set of stats.

See the "Rearranging / Picking Stats" section in the following link in the iScore documentation for information on turning on the additional stats:

I have a semi-related question in regard to stats displayed on the scoring device (in my case, an iPhone).

Is there a way, under Team Manager >> Team Stats, to display only the stats for a specific league, rather than career stats. For example, I've got four years' worth of games on my device, but I really only want to see 2013 stats. I don't want, at this point, their 10U stats to influence what I'm seeing now that they're in 14U.

Is that functionality available? Typically I gather my information from my websites, where displaying a single league (e.g. "2013") is simple, but there are times when I'd like to be able to see it on my phone at the ball field.

Yes, you can do it on the device as well. Just go to League Manager, and turn off all the leagues except the one you want to view stats for. Then go to Team Manager, select the team, and view stats. It will show only stats for games in the league(s) currently enabled in League Manager.

After viewing stats, be sure to go back to League Manager and turn on whatever league(s) you like to keep turned on by default.

Of course it would be something easy like that!

Thank you!

Ok, thanks again. I'll look at turning on stats.

However, what about getting the specific game by game stats that are emailed at the end of each game accumulated for the entire season? At this point, I have to open each of those files (named "gamestats.xls") and copy each into a "master".

Is it possible to get a "gamestats.xls" file with every game for the season?

If you email the Team Stats to yourself, it is a summary of all the game stats. If you are asking if one email can include the game stats excel spreadsheets for every game played, then no, that can not be done. You would have to email each game to see the game stats.
