Edit a Game

Post by jlpaige5 » Thu May 02, 2013 7:09 pm

I arrived in the middle of the first inning and started to keep score. Not knowing where they were in the battering order I decided to use the "End Inning" feature to get through the top of the first and start scoring from the bottom of the 1st to the end of the game. My plan was to get a copy of the other teams score book and then go back and manually enter the top of the first. However, I can't seem to find where to edit the top of the first inning. On the app the top of the first is blank when I go into edit and I can't seem to find on the website where to edit the game. Can anyone help??

You can not go back and insert data at the beginning of a game. To get the earlier stats, you have three options:

1. You can add the missing plays to the end of the game (increase # of scheduled innings as needed to be able to enter the plays at the end)

2. You can manually add stats to players to get their stats correct. See the following link for information on doing this:

3. You can rescore the game from the beginning by using the scorecard and/or pitch by pitch data (generally takes about 15-20 minutes)

Thanks....that is what I thought. Are you planning making the app fully editable in the future? I think it would be a great upgrade. I love you app, have scored over 100 games in just over a year with it. Thanks for the hard work!!

We continue to do what we can to make more edits available, but in order to keep game integrity, there are some edits that just can not be done.
