We have a 15 man roster and only 9 hit, when the coach quickly adds a sub batter in how do I sub him in without deleting the player he came in for stats? The first game I did I just held on his name and switched with the batter he was coming in for but the previous at bats gave the new batter credit.. so how to I sub him them in?

It sounds like you were changing the starting lineup which is telling iScore the player started the game, not that the player was subbed in.
