Hi there forum. sorry for this very basic question (only new to iscore). I have had an android 7" tablet for a while and have recently purchased a 10" android tablet; For varied reasons (mainly spam) I have changed my email address on the new device and would like to start scoring my sons baseball games on the new tablet. With above in mind, my question is simply this: do I have to purchase the Iscore app from the google play store AGAIN so I can use on the new device ?
if answer is yes I have to purchase, what happens to app (and cost of the app) on the old tablet when I reset the tablet and sell it as I no longer need/want the tablet ?
appreciate any assistance from the forum
forgot to mention it is Iscore baseball that I am using
cheers

You do not have to buy iScore again if your devices share a google account and you log in with the same account you purchased iScore with. If you have a different account then Google would have no way to know you already purchased iScore. You would have to contact Google with this question to get further clarification as it is a Google Play issue, not an iScore issue as we have no control of the purchase process in the Google Play store.

tks for quick answer. I do have a further question though, and that is I don't necessarily think it's a google play issue as I have numerous apps that I have just reloaded onto my new tablet (granted they are free apps), the Iscore app is a paid app linked to the email on the tablet the fact that is paid has nothing to do with google play it is the iscore developers that charge - surely iscore would be able to find a way to reissue activation code on new tablet with new email while cancelling old activation on old email.
seems that developers believe that users will always us the same email regardless of qty of device or specifi device being used. In my case, my original gmail email got targeted by spammers BUT seems I am now being penalised for changing emails ... as stated above, it's the iscore app that is the offender as it is a paid app. The fact that I do not wish to use Iscore on my old tablet via my old email surely shouldn't penalise me and force me to purchase the app again ? Can't see this as reasonable as this is not about me trying to get the app on another device for free, it's about cancelling the original subscription all together as the email address is sort of corrupted, then transferring my iscore membership (read money already paid for the app) to another email address and in this case a newer device.
appreciate feedback

You can actually install the App on multiple devices. That is not an issue at all. The issue is Google Play's rules with licensing. They license to a google play account, and that is tied to an email address. You can contact Google about how / whether you can change the email address of your google play account, but that is not something we have any control of.
Of course you can install free apps on as many accounts as you want. But any paid apps will follow the same rules. It is not an iScore rule it is a Google Play rule.
You can still log in to Google Play with your old account on your new device and install iScore. You do not need to us the email address as an actual email address. It can be a long to Google Play and not be used for email communication.
