Catcher's Obstruction/Interference
Catcher's Obstruction/Interference
On catcher's obstruction/interference, the catcher gets charged with an error which is correct. The batter does not get charged with a time at bat which is also correct. But when I view game stats, it also does not give the batter an ROE (Reach on Error). Should that not show up as ROE?
Re: Catcher's Obstruction/Interference
I believe ROE and not being charged for an AB would be mutually exclusive. ROE counts as an AB.

The batter is given a CI on their stat line. It is not an ROE.
