Backing Up Data

Post by karidhs » Sun Apr 14, 2013 4:46 pm

New user... not just iScore, but iPad, too.

So..

1. does syncing my ipad to my macbook pro, and launching itunes, automatically save my ipad data? If so, where is it?
2. I just exported my data (options --> export) to iscore. Shall i do that after every game?

thanks folks.

Welcome to the board!

I can never figure out itunes...I honestly dont know if the database gets saved there or not...someone else maybe can clarify that.

Yes, export after every game. This is the way to truly ensure your data is backed up. Also, if you have a team website, this is what pushes the data to the website.

head coach mistakenly deleted two completed games this weekend before exporting data. Is there any way to retrieve them off ipad... disaster recovery option? or any solution other than going to a manual score to retrieve
Thanks

Many times if you delete data, it can still be recovered. See this link in our FAQ for more information:
