hello, who gets the win (pitcher ),tied 1-1 in the 7th and senior pitcher comes in to relieve sophomore pitcher in the 8th, who struck out 13.So in the 9th inning, we win 2-1....very frustrated ..thx Softball Mom

relief pitcher is the pitcher of record and would get the win.

more frustrating is when the relief pitcher comes in with a 2-1 lead (so the original pitcher was pitcher of record and stood to get win), then gives up 2 runs (costing the starter the win), only to have his/her team get 2 runs back (and relief pitcher gets win.)
