My daughter's softball team is in tournament season. They played the host team in round one, so i assumed the host school would be the home team. Therefore i entered the teams accordingly. When the coaches met at home right before the game the umpires did a coin toss to determine home and visitor.
Needless to say i was messed up the entire game.
Is there a way to simply switch the home and visitor after the 2 rosters are entered??

Yes. From the lineup screen (after hitting play, but before you get to the scoring screen) Options->Swap Home/Away (or Swap Teams...cant remember how its worded).

The only time you can swap home and away is at this point, the intial line up screen ... If you Come back to line up screen in game, misc > show line up, the flip teams option will not be there..

But At the start of the game, in case you get to scoreing screen, and the very first batter who steps up to the plate is on the wrong team..... Don't panic... You can fix it quickly,

Just hit undo till you get back to the "tap play when umpire says play ball " screen.... Tap on line up button there, and you will be back at intial line up screen and can now tap options > swap teams

To recap: tap Undo,undo> line up> option > swap teams> done> play .......

So although you can not swap home and away after scoreing starts, it is pretty clear before first pitch is thrown if you have it wrong and can fix in seconds.

coin flip games and pre guessing home and away is common.. I tend to guess my team as home, brings me good luck on coin toss..
