Copying old team to a new one

Post by cdave » Tue Feb 19, 2013 7:02 am

Is there an easy way to copy last years team and create a new one? We have 8 out of 11 returning and i don't want the old players showing up in the stats. The team also has a new name. Thanks.

Not really an easy way to copy team, but also dont think its necessary in this case.

I would rename the team (changing team name has no effect on how stats are calculated).

I would mark the 3 non-returning players as Inactive. Then add your new players to the roster.

It would only take a minute to create a new team and select from your existing pool of players anyway if that is what you want to do. Just go to Team Manager, create a new team, select Roster, and pick players from your existing pool. Then add any new ones that you don't already have in your player pool.
