Mercy Rule

My son's league uses a 5 run mercy rule per inning. how do I account for that without giving an out to a batter that legitimatly got a hit?
they also have a 1 hour 15 minute time limit, how do I end a game prematurely ?

I believe you can do this by choosing "End Game" from the Misc menu.

end game from misc menu for a shortened game would work, what about the 5 run mercy rule? is their an end inning?

Yes to both.
You use MISC button to END INNING (or a half inning) prematurely.
as well as a MISC END GAME to end a game prematurely,
This is for what ever reason you need (rule rule, weather, time etc).
Misc Button also lets you SKIP A BATTER (with the choice of counting as an out or not)..
