Short answer. No worry,. iscore does that. You have done nothing wrong. Just need to use leagues a bit more robustly.
(the answer is the same regardless of device, phone or tablet, android or iOS, the solution is leagues)
( this is a very common scenario for many of us. organizing stats by logical groups for Multiple Kids, Multiple teams, Multiple Tournaments, Multiple seasons, multiple years. and then being able to see them by any groupings or in total as you want )
The trick is to understand..
stats are associated with games on a 1 to 1 basis. but teams and games (and their associated stats) are not limited to a single league, they can be associated with multiple leagues .. and that is the key, take any game and assign it to as many groupings (aka leagues) as you need.. Say School League, Spring Season, Scrimmages, Tournaments, etc. you name it as flexible as you can organize it)
So steps to take. .
1) create two new leagues -for example... Fury 00- 2012, and Baylor - 2012. (do this in league manager, new league)
2) check on the special "all" league (which shows all data on your device) ...then go into game manager,
3+ ) one by one, game by game, go through all your fury games (game info screen > leagues) and assign them to the appropriate team-2012 league.. ie Fury 00 - 2012 or Baylor -2012 .. do not unchecked any existing league assignments for that game. so when done, all your games will now be associated with your original tournament league AND your new team-2012 league.
repeat for all games you want to assign to a team-2012 league
4) go to team manager and assign your Fury00 and Baylor teams to their Team-2012 leagues, fury00-2012 and baylor-2012 (this is a required step if you have a team web site and want the league to show up on the web site, it is optional if you dont have a team site, but i find it helpful and recommend doing it at least for the teams you have kids on, opponents less critical)
5) Now go back to league manager, turn off ALL league, and select only the league you want to see stats for , say Fury00-2012, now go to game manager and only those games in that league will appear, go to team manager and the stats for the team for those leagues will be for only those games
6) optional, you can go through your team roster and assign players to the leagues so they show up in player manager. when filtered by league. this is an optional step, and sometimes i do it and sometimes i don't. depending on if i think i will see the team again or not.
This should get you there, but if you need more info here is a thread on league usage.
