syncing iscorecast

Hi: I use the mobile hotspot on my smartphone for wifi when scoring my son's ballgames. When I try to sync the iscorecast (from the game info page using options: i-scorecast syncronize) prior to the game starting I get a message that reads a problem with my internet connection. But if I immediately try to email the iscore info the email goes through?

When I got home today I played with it again. Got a problem w/my internet connection message prior to beginning to score the game. BUT when I scored the first two batters and THEN (by exiting the scoring function and going back to the game info page) turned on the iscoresync it worked....and continued to work while scoring the rest of the game.

What am I doing wrong?

Prior to the game starting, there is nothing to synchronize, so trying to do the iScorecast Synchronize will give an error. Once the game has begun, you can do an iScorecast Syncrhonize.

As long as you have iScorecast enabled on your device, you really should not even need to use the iScorecast Synchronize however. That only needs to be used when you have scored a game without iScorecast enabled or without an internet connection to update the server.

or, if you need to swap teams. which does require a sync, but gives you the error message anyway.
