Dropped 3rd strike counting as earned run

Dropped 3rd strike counting as earned run

When a player reaches first base on a dropped 3rd strike and an error by the catcher, it cannot be an earned run. Why does iscore calculate it as an earned run?

If you enter Safe, Dropped third Strike on a strikeout, the run will not count as earned. We just verified by creating a game, Strike, Strike, Strike, Safe, Dropped 3rd Strike, then entered a home run. The pitcher was credited with 1 earned run.

If you enter Safe, Wild Pitch 3rd Strike, then it IS an earned run.

I entered dropped 3rd strike and an error on the catcher because of a bad throw. It even shows on my scorecard for the game that way. It still counted as an earned run
