I am starting a new season. Going to score our first game of season tonight. How do I make sure the new season stats don't just add to last season's stats? is there there a dropdown or something? What do I do to make sure the new season appears separate from prior season(s)? Appreciate any info you can provide.

Of the two choices mprusak presented to you, I *strongly* suggest using leagues. Assign last year's games to a league called "2011" (or "2011 ____ League," or whatever) and then set up the same league for 2012. On your website, change the default league that shows (on your settings tab) to the 2012 league, and you are good to go. Just make sure that you assign you team to both of these leagues, and that for this year's games, you assign the games only to the 2012 league (and whatever other leagues you have, as appropriate).
